Fresh Leadership & New Franchise Ownership Model

This year, the IEHL is under the guidance of a newly appointed leadership group from the East Coast, bringing fresh energy and expertise to the league. A key milestone for the IEHL in 2025 is the introduction of a franchise ownership model, where individual licenses have been sold for several teams.

This innovative structure allows for independent team operations in partnership with the league, enabling the IEHL to focus on delivering an exceptional player experience and expanding the league’s presence.

Teams with franchise licenses for the 2025 season include:

Ashdod Dolphins
HC Tel Aviv

Herzliya Pioneers

The Haifa Mariners will remain owned and operated by the league while the franchise remains for sale, ensuring the team continues to compete at a high level. Additionally, an eighth new franchise will be introduced and operated by the league for the upcoming season.

Exciting Format for the 2025 Season

The IEHL 2025 season will feature 8 teams, divided into two divisions—North and Central. Each team will play a 10-game regular season, culminating in a thrilling playoff format where the top 6 teams will battle for the coveted IEHL Championship.

The league is also proud to announce the return of the IEHL All-Star Game, a mid-season showcase celebrating the league’s top talent and providing an unforgettable experience for players and fans alike.

The 2025 IEHL season is set to run from June 3 to July 8, 2025, with opportunities for players from around the world to showcase their skills on the ice.
